The purpose of this project is to analyse the positioning of the German digital economy in international comparison with its competitors and to analyse the development of the digitalisation of economy and society in GermanyThe analysis is determined by using several statistical indicators as well as the evaluation of representative company data, collected for the project only.The Monitoring of the Digital Economy 2015-2017 is the Continuation of the project Monitoring of the German Information and Communication Economy, 2012-2014
