Digital Transformation and Changing World of Work – DiWaBe 2.0
The digital transformation and the associated increase in the use of artificial intelligence are leading to fundamental structural change in the world of work. In order to take a closer look at the effects on employees, the second wave of the employee survey "Digitalization and Change in Employment" will be collected and subjected to initial analyses as part of the project. The employee survey covers the diffusion of new technologies, in particular artificial intelligence, in the workplace and also surveys the potentially associated effects on employees in the form of changed occupational activities and work organization. The survey also focuses on health outcomes. Furthermore, the survey will be supplemented with administrative company and employee data and can also be linked to a company survey on the use of digital technologies. The resulting DiWaBe 2.0 employer-employee dataset offers comprehensive analysis options on the effects of, for example, the use of AI in the workplace on the well-being of employees and their work structure and organization.
