Tim Kalmey has been a researcher in ZEW’s Research Unit “Environmental and Climate Economics” since March 2023.
He studied Philosophy & Economics at the University of Bayreuth and received his master’s degree in development economics at the University of Göttingen with a focus on quantitative methods and environmental economics. In his master’s thesis, he investigated the relationship between income and the consumption-based biodiversity footprints of US households.
