Innovation Economics Expertise for the BMWK
PersonnelZEW Economist Hanna Hottenrott joins the Scientific Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action
The Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, Dr. Robert Habeck, has appointed Professor Hanna Hottenrott as a new member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). Hanna Hottenrott is head of ZEW Mannheim’s Research Unit “Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics” and Professor for Economics of Innovation at the Technical University of Munich.
The Scientific Advisory Board advises the BMWK independently through letters and expert opinions on economic policy issues and determines the subject of its consultations itself. It consists of 38 members made up of experts who advise the BMWK and publish the results in the form of expert opinions as an expression of the Council's opinion.
