Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics
Dr. Bastian Krieger is head of the Junior Research Group “Co-Creation” in ZEW’s Research Unit “Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics”. His work focuses on the quantitative analysis of companies’ collaboration with customers, public authorities, research institutes and industrial partners. Furthermore, he is the contact person for the research area “Industry-Science Linkages and Technology Transfer”.
Bastian Krieger holds a doctorate from the University of Luxembourg. Moreover, he completed a double master’s programme at the University of Giessen and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and regularly attended doctoral courses at the University of Mannheim.
He visited KU Leuven and ETH Zurich as a visiting scholar. In addition, he is a guest researcher at the Technical University of Munich, the University of Luxembourg, and at the Bundesbank’s Research Data Centre. Furthermore, he has given lectures at the Technical University of Munich, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, KU Leuven, and the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University.
