Corporate Taxation and Public Finance
Julia Spix is a researcher in the ZEW Research Unit “Corporate Taxation and Public Finance”. Since 2022 she has been a PhD student in the Taxation Track of the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business (CDSB) at the University of Mannheim’s Graduate School of Economic and Social Science (GESS). Her main research interests are tax harmonisation in the European Union and international tax planning.
Previously, she studied business administration at the University of Mannheim, with a focus on business taxation and tax law. She completed a semester abroad at the Monterrey campus of the Instituto Technológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in Mexico.
