Manuel Lauer is deputy head of ZEW’s Service Unit “General Services”, where he also leads the “Infrastructure” team. In his previous role as academic assistant to the head of ZEW’s Research Unit “Digital Economy”, he took over tasks in science management. Until 2020, he managed the work area “International Qualification Programmes” and was a trainer and coach for researchers as well as executives from Germany and Asia.
Manuel Lauer obtained a graduate degree in business administration and Chinese studies at Cologne University and Capital Normal University in Beijing. During his studies, he completed internships in China and Germany.
