Digital EconomyOlga Slivko studied Business-Informatics at the Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia). Later, she obtained Master degrees in Industrial Economics from Rovira i Virgili University (Reus, Spain) and in Economics of Science and Innovation from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (Barcelona, Spain). She completed her PhD in Economics from Rovira i Virgili University in October 2012. In her PhD dissertation, she analysed the relationship between market structure and firm innovation strategies. During her PhD, she was also a teaching assistant for Economics of Transportation, Industrial Policy and Public Sector Economics. Her research focuses on Economics of Innovation and Information Technologies, especially, on the aspects of content generation on digital platforms such as Wikipedia, Stackoverflow, and more.
